To further foster innovative development in pet nutrition, pet food science and the broader pet health industry, deepen academic exchanges and cooperation among experts worldwide, and establish a high-level platform for industry-academia-research integration, the Institute of Feed Research, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences plans to host the 2nd International Conference on Pet Food and Nutrition in July 2026. Renowned scholars and specialists from home and overseas will be invited to deliver presentations, sharing latest research outcomes, industrial trends and cutting-edge technologies to jointly advance academic progress and industrial innovation within this field.

1)Plenary Presentations
Centering on three core themes: Basic Research, Cutting-edge Technology and Industrial Development for companion animals, the conference assembles leading experts and academics across the industry for in-depth discussions and frontier knowledge exchanges covering the key topics below:
a. Nutritional Science: Fundamental pet nutrition, clinical pet nutrition, and gastrointestinal health of companion animals
b. Special Companion Animals: Nutrition and feed innovation for exotic pets; equine nutritional requirements and disease prevention & control
c. Pet Health: Genetic testing, vaccines, stem cell technology and related applications
d. Industrial Specifications: Formulation principles and standards of therapeutic pet diets; safety, analytical testing and regulatory standards for pet food
e. Digital & Intelligent Future: Innovation of comprehensive pet health industry empowered by artificial intelligence
2)Graduate Student Forum
A dedicated graduate forum is arranged to build a high-standard academic exchange platform for young researchers in the pet industry. Postgraduate students are encouraged to present their latest findings based on the above topics to facilitate academic brainstorming, improve research competency and foster emerging talent for pet nutrition and animal health disciplines.
3)Scientific & Technological Achievements Exhibition
Latest research outputs and technical advances from CAAS are showcased to all participants, focusing on pet nutrition, pet food, veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, disease prevention and clinical diagnosis & treatment. The exhibition serves as an exchange hub for industrial transformation of pet-related scientific achievements.

7.Call for Posters
1) Presenters intending to participate and display posters shall design and produce posters on their own and bring finished posters to the venue upon on-site registration; the Organizing Committee will arrange poster display uniformly.
2) Poster specifications: 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height), with a 2.5 cm margin at the top and bottom of the layout.

9.Conference Charges
1) Registration fee covers conference attendance, printed materials and meals provided during the conference;
